I hate widowhood pretty completely, but "the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations are really damn good days." -- Ray Wylie Hubbard

Well, I'm trying for it anyway.

  1. ((hugs)) It can't be easy to essentially start making a new life. Missed you here lately and have been praying for you.

  2. Please keep em' up because I don't have a clue what comes next. I've often thought during these recent days that I wish I'd had the good sense to get an accounting degree.

  3. :) You can have mine. If you haven't checked lately, the peregrine falcons I linked to a while ago have hatched - cute, hungry little things. Just watched them being fed. They quiet down so well when their parent sits on them...I know some humans who could benefit from watching them, LOL.

  4. Those parents have tremendous patience. I watched them at PG&E in San Francisco.

These are birds that can fly at light speed, and snap something right out of the air. Usually someone else's offspring.

  5. Ummm, you can tell it's been a long winter when you spend your time watching a peregrine sit chicks.

Fun to be such a thrilling woman, isn't it?
